Here are our 2008 "Climate Connection" Lego Guard Team!

Our coach is Heidi Buck...

She is the Visual Art instructor at PCOE, a professional artist (check out her web site here at www.hbdragon.com) and was the assistant coach for last year's Lego Guards. She is our presentation specialist, coordinator extraordinaire , and , above all, encourages us to always be gracious professionals.

We are very lucky to have Alan LeVezu help mentor our team!

This is his 4th year with FIRST FLL, and he coached the amazing "Power Puzzle" team from last year,  who went to World! (you may have heard of them...  they were the 2008 NorCal State Champions AND won a 1st Place engineering award at World Festival! )

He is our Engineering and Programming guru and teamwork challenge-creator extraordinare!

Our youth team mentor is: Karl LeVezu

Karl was the head Engineer for the  Power Puzzle-Lego Guards. His team was the 2008 NorCal State Champions & won a 1st place award at the World Festival in Atlanta. He is currently a  member of the new FTC team - Techno Guards #2848 (check out their web site here: www.technoguards.org) and attends Maidu High School.

He takes his mentoring position very seriously.
